i)    Group 1 : punctuate the paragraph correctly.

ii)   Group 2 : punctuate six (6) sentences correctly.

iii)  Group 3 : punctuate three (3) sentences correctly.

Teaching &Learning Activities       : [Guided Writing]

1)     Teacher re-reads the text with pupils.

2)     Teacher highlights and explains the usage of the capital letters and full stop (.) used in the text.

3)     Teacher distributes worksheets.

a)     Group 1        :           Worksheet A - in paragraph form

b)     Group 2        :           Worksheet B - in sentence form -six (6) sentences

c)     Group 3        :           Worksheet C - in sentence form -three (3) sentences

4)     Teacher guides the pupils.

5)     Teacher collects the worksheets.

6)     Teacher shows the text again to show the correct usage of capital letters and full stop.
